Just catching up from the past few days - I finally got around to downloading the pics from my camera.

Jan 4th:

A Christmas present.

Jan 5th:
To ensure a snow day -- according to Thomas's teacher -- you must 1) flush 6 ice cubes down the toilet 2) wear your jammies inside-out and backwards and 3) do the snow chant/song which starts by throwing your arms in the air and yelling "blech" in every direction. I can't remember the song part.

However, the next morning brought only rain. Thomas felt a crushing disappointment when he saw the rain -- he was so excited for snow. Well, they both were.

Jan 6th:
Tuesday was the start of Rachel's after-school cooking class. They made banana chip bread, which we baked once we got home. Everyone loved it -- except Rachel.
