Yes, we're heading into the kitchen for the next Method Playground challenge. While you're drooling over the sneak peeks from CHA and wondering how you're going to keep your kids occupied as summer's half-way through, how about a challenge you can share with your family? This time we're using cookie cutters. Any way you like, just as long as you use them. Give your kids some playdoh, paint or cookie dough and let them create next to you!
For this layout I used several different sizes of star cookie cutters, stamping & tracing with them. I used Tim Holtz's distress paint to stamp the stars onto patterned paper, then I cut them out. I broke out the Shrinky Dinks supplies and traced around the stars. Before shrinking them I used a Studio Calico woodgrain stamp and Stazon ink to add a little fun to the smaller ones.
