For November we were giving Teresa Collin's Giving Thanks line.I played around with a few punches and my new iTop tool and came up with the following layouts....
From our monthly pagemap challenge. I stuck to the sketch this month, changing around the proportions of the blocks. Since I decided to use the orange paper as my background I changed my photos to black and white. An itop brad, a bit of Prima.....
For my two-page layout I decided to start with a bit of kraft paper for the background and use simple layers of the Teresa Collins to frame my photos. And I really wanted to try out the Tim Holtz medallion die. Fun!
And a more simple design for a 8.5 x 11 layout. I was able to use all these patterns without being busy because of the neutral backdrop of the photo.
Ahh ... Halloween night. Vampires and ninjas. At least they color-coordinated!
I can't believe it's arlready November. We made it through the craziness of October - cub scout popcorn sales & scouting activities (mostly) and November's looking just as jam-packed. Rachel's in a local production of the Nutcracker next weekend, which means four very long rehearsals this week. Yikes! She'll be a cute little mouse, though!
And Karen and I are getting ready for our class at ScrapbooksPlus which starts this Thursday, based on Tim Holtz's Christmas tags. We'll be recreating some of his 2009 tags and doing a few of our own takes on them.
And the leaves are falling in earnest. Sigh... which means raking. On top of that, I've started doing demo on the basement, ripping off drywall and such in preparation for bringing in the contractors -- sooner rather than later I hope.
Welcome & thanks for stopping by.
