This past weekend we were up very early on Saturday morning to participate in the annual wreath laying at Arlington National Cemetary. This is sponsored by Wreaths Across America. This is run by donations, and this year they had enough wreaths donated to cover about half the cemetary.
Our Cub Scout den has participated for the past three years, and we're hoping to continue that as Thomas moves into Boy Scouts this spring.
Later in the afternoon we took the kids to see The Hobbit. Which we loved.
And these two things formed the basis for my Journal Your Christmas for the weekend.
Just heard about the wreath program for the first time on television earlier today. God bless you and your scouts for participating in such an honorable tribute. Synchronicity! Family by family we will surely make our world a better place. Love your art also.
