Christmas Eve. Finally we are able to relax, take the kids to a late afternoon Mass and try to get them to sleep at a decent time.
My parents' church is just beautiful and was decorated to the hilt for Christmas. We posed the kids on the step of the altar in front of the Nativity scene.
And we had to put together a plate for Santa, complete with a note.
Much to my dismay, the kids were up before 7 a.m. checking out their stockings and looking through the presents. I was really hoping that since they'd had a few late nights they would sleep until at least 8.
Presents were opened, the kids bravely tried to swim in a freezing pool, and we got started on Christmas dinner.
I cut a Simple Stories protector in half and added American Craft's glitter tape down the side to make this thin photo page.
And the back... priceless!
