In a couple of mad crafting afternoons I managed to finish up my Journal Your Christmas / December Daily for this year. I decided to go all the way through the entire month of December with this one.
I'll be uploading the entire book to a photo album. Here's the rest of the month:
Dec 26th - I used a Hambley Screen Prints transparency, a scrap of October Afternoon paper and a Maya Road snowflake for this page. And a shot of the ranch visit I didn't get to go on because I was taking care of Rachel as she threw up the entire day.
Dec 27th: a fishing trip.
Dec 28th: back home via the Autotrain. A bit of American Crafts glitter tape, and a stack of scraps for a photo mat framed by October Afternoon banners. Other supplies - My Mind's Eye washi tape, Echo Park paper, October Afternoon stickers.
Dec 29th: A few more pics of us on the Autotrain, because that's the most exciting thing that happened. Tom & I both needed naps by the time we got home - sleeping on the train is more of a goal than an achievement. I used a large Ranger tag for this page, adhered a few scraps and brushed a bit of gesso over them.
Dec 39th -Year in Review. I did two pages for this. On the back of the tag is a pocket from a Simple Stories page protector that holds the newsletter from our Christmas cards. I added a bunch of stickers and banners around the ribbon, courtesy of an Xmas present from Williams-Sonoma.
And the other page... a vellum envelope stenciled with pigment ink and layered with tag & stuff. I have tags for my kids to complete with their favorite memories, highlights, top ten for 2012.
And finally.... the end. Love this chevron paper.
