I put together some fun cards for my Project Life-ish scrapbooking. Why Life-ish? Well, I decided that weekly spreads weren't the way I wanted to go. I do more of a "month in a review" kinda thing using Becky Higgin's Project Life page protectors and any kinda card insert I can find.
Did you know Becky Higgens makes black cardstock cards? Love them! My Epson printer has a photo paper tray that takes 4x6 paper - which is perfect for these. I can use digital kits from Project Life and other and print my own cards.
To make the 3x4 cards I create a new 4x6 sheet and drag two 3x4 cards onto it, then print and cut them in half. I do the same thing with photos so that I'm printing two pics on a 4x6 piece of photo paper.
I made a handful of cards teaming up ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever and Perfect Crafting Pouch with stencils, stamps, glitter, embossing powder and Ranger's Perfect Pearls. After making the base, I layered them with scraps of patterned paper and embellishments. Now they're ready to add to my albums. (Yes, the 2013 was intentional. I've got some catching up to do...)
To clean up after using the Best Glue Ever (like after using with a paintbrush) you need the Best Cleaner Ever. My brush had been sitting for about 5 minutes with glue on it. All it took was two pumps of the Best Cleaner Ever in my palm for swishing the brush. The glue came right out.
